Symbol of Sorrow arose in early 2007 from the ashes of a band called Fallen by Fate. Guitarist Carl Baylor and bass player Adam Stamets knew that they had a chemistry that you don't find often. This feeling was echoed by Fallen by Fate's manager Wayne Lobb. They decided that in order to move forward they needed a drummer that shared their vision. Mark Whitmore a friend of Adams was the best candidate to audition. The foursome clicked immediately and started writing song after song. In the wake of all the shows Mark informed the band he was burning out and they should look for a replacement. This is where the newest member of the band comes in Jerry (stick). Now with bone crushing double bass to match the power driven guitar and vocals. Symbol Of Sorrow is not looking back. This band blends speed metal with rock and groove. From the powerfully soulful songs Father Figure and Society to the hard driving songs B.T.K. and Rotting the band shows no fear at exploring new directions in music. With every member of the band singing and writing music, they are not limited to the normal constraints of one musical genre. A Symbol of Sorrow show is an experience that more and more people can't get enough of. Every show brings new fans and sees people from all walks of life getting hooked on the band's unique brand of metal. The cross-section of people at a Symbol of Sorrow show includes children as young as 7 banging their heads, moshing, and crowd surfing next to grandmothers and grandfathers well into their 60's that are singing along with the band.
 

IX From Chaos

  Emerging onto the local Lehigh Valley music scene with a breath of fresh air in 2004, members original members released Out of the Basement, recorded with Jason Kocis  of American Liar /former member of the Armadillos. IX From CHAOS is a Hard Rock band from Easton, Pennsylvania, fueled by a mix of 90's Grunge to the veins of Modern Metal.

   In the summer of 2004, IX from CHAOS were one of five finalist to be in the 16th Annual 95.1 WZZO Backyard Band Competition at the Great Allentown Fair.

   After a brief case of MIA from the band,  9from CHAOS won the WSBG 93.5 Battle Of The Bands  at the Pocono Brewing Company in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania in the fall of 2005, Out of over 200 entries, four bands ( Third Wave, Hollis, Solace, and IX from CHAOS) they were able to regain the spotlight of the local scene.

   Currently IX from CHAOS been playing shows and has been busy writing new music and is currently recording at Tangled Studio. Their 2nd CD should be out n the summer of 2008.
